I've only used this app for a little while, but so far, it works great. I only have a couple of small issues. #1, It could just be my phone, but sometimes this app will get REALLY laggy, letting me type maybe a character per second, sometimes this doesn't happen, so I don't know what the issue is. #2, whenever I try to make text bold, it just comes out as normal text. I don't think this is just an issue only I'm having either. I hope this is fixed soon, but other than that, great app.

Better than the original notes app that I was using, however there are. A few bugs when using the tools. Every time I try to italicize for bold. A specific part of my text. The entire file ends up with the same effect. To fix this, you have to save your writings. Exit the app and restart it. This is very annoying whenever I'm trying to use dialogue in the italicized format. Other than a few bugs, it's a pretty good app. Has basic features. And information I like the Different counters.

I like that I can change the size and spacing for text. Unfortunately, altering from the original settings is perhaps what caused my copied text to transfer incorrectly (I'm transferring documents out of a faulty app.) There are frequent gaps between parts of sentences. It's easily fixable by deleting the extra space, but it's annoying because it's time consuming when many documents are involved. I guess I'll try going back to default settings temporarily, to see if it fixes the problem.

Unsure how to order notes by ascending and descending. Only option is ascending. Pretty good overall. Just missing a few more features and it'll be the only one you ever need. Desperately needs a theme editor or more theme varities for the full version. Genuinely looking forward to it and I hope they are too (instead of abandoning it as so many others do).

I do like it for my writing. However, I think the changing of fonts is not ideal. You can only change the font for all documents being viewed, not different fonts per document or within each document. You also cannot specify a font-size, only whether it's a heading (H1, H2, and H3), and when you do it, it changes the entire block of text, not merely the selected text like I want. Since I'm writing a book, I wanted to make the first letter of chapter one very large, but I couldn't.

The app looked perfect, EXCEPT it doesn't just let you edit files directly from storage like Markor or Obsidian; you have to IMPORT your files into the app, and multi-import is a Premium feature. it's a shame because I was strongly considering buying the app just for the aesthetics alone, but not being able to just write directly into my storage is a no-go. I need something that edits raw txt/md files and saves them exactly as that, with no need to export from yet another app.

At first I thought this would be like all the other WORD spin-offs. After writing one document and actually doing a copy/paste I bought the premium version. Can't wait to transfer my documents to this platform. I have been using the premium version for a day. I love it so much I bought a foldable keyboard to make it easier to type everything in. I am using a keyboard to make my inputs. The more I use this app the more I love it. It's easy to use and the support is fantastic.

It's good. Although I wish they'd make the layout more practical. Somehow, I'd accidentally tapped the italic option and was unable to change it. Same thing with the bullet point option - it made the app extremely slow, had to manually delete each bullet point as the undo button didn’t work, and unselecting it didn't either. Perhaps put them in a side bar? Or use commands such as ** or ><

Features, were added so there was a $5 price hike. I wouldn't say they're great enough to justify the increase. Lacks ability to set custom font color while typing, you must manually change the color for everything after it's typed, quite a pain. they have no plans to change this. also no custom themes. all in all it is an okay app. not worth the current price tho.

Both the free and paid versions of this are phenomenal, with fantastic formatting options, file organization, and utility. Bulk import was quick and painless and, possibly most importantly for me, didn't change any of my organization! Do listen to the warnings the app gives you (they're there for a reason) but I've had zero unexpected problems, even with importing/exporting docx files. Absolutely worth trying and paying for if you do more than note taking on your phone!

This app is AWESOME. I've only had it for a month but it is better than the one that was installed on my phone when I bought it, long story short the other app DELETED all my work and I worked on my book for 2 months. I was able to get some of it back but it was really upsetting and I cried for an hour bc of it, so I'm glad that this app lets you save your work to a file of your choice unlike that app that I mentioned earlier.

Honestly? The only thing I think missing from this is the fact I can't have the app in my laptop. The interface is easy to use. It's minimalistic, the looks is very appealing. Premium allows you to import and export different file types/documents. I just jot down notes and scripts then copy paste but Premium is worth it if you have large files that will easier to export. It has a growth tracker, typing speed, word analyze and more. It's cute, I adore it.

I've been using Writer Journal for roughly a year now. It's simplistic, straightforward, and organized. Getting started takes seconds, and it's easy to draft a few pages on the go. I just bought the premium version today for lifetime access because I've been using this app for so long with no problems and no hassle. It's a well-made platform and deserves the support.

Exactly what I needed: pragmatic interface, with formatting options like bold, italics, strikethrough, indents/spacing, font size, etc. The stats like the number of words are nice to have, though I don't need them. What won me over was the option for a one-time payment for premium, and NOT a subscription! The free version is honestly all I need but I'll probably buy the premium just to support the developer.

Thank you for this app! 🙏 Every basic editing functionality is FREE, and you can't beat that nowadays. Being able to jot down any thought on-the-go, without pen and paper, is a dream. I use with my phone's talk-to-type, to get my whole thought out without stumbling over keyboard errors from big fingers. I also recommend this app to anyone who needs to make picture-accompanied entries, as you can plop the picture right in your entry. The developers are heroes in a greedy society!

It's really amazing!! I love as a writer that it shows you all your analytics, like words that are fancy, common words you use the most, and how many words and what speed and how many minutes you wrote them for. This is amazing for writers who are beginners and need feedback. The organization is just chefs' kiss too after getting a hang of how things work. I love this app very dearly, even though I just begun.

I like this app. I'd say it's much better for Journaling or jotting down notes. It's not very good for writing a novel. It lacks important features that make a writing app useful like different fonts, formatting etc. Not only that but I went to send a document to my email it didn't show up like a document...it showed up like a typical email.
