This was my favorite new app, now it keeps closing all on it's own. There is no update available and I have no use for an app that shuts down everytime you use it, so I have no choice but to delete it. It is just sad.

I unistalled then installed it again and it works! Yay! This app is a great news app. Less adds than the others, and has news stories, not click bait.

I get adverts all over every story as it is, and now you're making more and more stories shown on the main page "subscriber only". You people make money hand over fist via excessive ads. This is ridiculous. Uninstalled.

It's a handy app, especially for being notified about school closures, but when school actually does close, it seemingly sends a dozen notifications every time. It's silly.

We watch WXYZ TV regularly and are usually very pleased with the entire Station News Accuracy etc. However this morning Kennan announced that the poor air quality coming down from the wildfires needs to be dealt with. You do understand there are several out of control and only a few able to fight them. When you had out of control Fires in California and the terrible act on 911 our Canadian Firefighters didn't have to be asked they automatically sent volunteers to help out. We are doing our best

Turned off news notifications and I'm still getting them on my phone. This app barely works better than the Channel 4 app. Guess I'll switch back to that one.

I am uninstalling this app because when I am reading a news story I keep getting adds that automatically open, and these adds contain malware, and affects the device or devices that I am using. I am reporting this immediately.

I enjoy the WXYZ app, because it has all the news, sports and weather that I may have missed that day. Keep up the good work Channel 7, you are my go-to station when I need up-to-date and accurate information.

I had this app for 5yrs or more and never had any problems with it. Now all of a sudden the app doesn't work anymore. Every time I try to open, it automatically close out. Please fix or I will be uninstalling.

The app apparently isn't made for the smaller cellphones - it acts totally screwy - displaying chopped mostly just a flashing small square about 1 cm. Sometimes it displays a tiny strip of the video to the right And the top of the screen where the share button is disappears when the little video square does it's spasms

This app has all the local news and weather I could need. Its better than WJBK, or WWJ by a longshot. I live downriver in the Trenton, Woodhaven, Brownstown area. I hate it when other stations talk about "downriver" area and they are talking about Taylor or Allen Park. Thanks for the app, it really does the trick!!!

I love you guys you're great! However, I would like to see more local news and less Hollywood and national. There's too much fluff. I think we need to pay more attention to what truly truly truly is going on in our neighborhood and fill our local news cast with very local news. You guys are great at reporting it 🤗 I just want to see more of it! Pretty please. No sugar on top LOL. Hollywood should stay in Hollywood unless one of our icons passes and it should remain in the shows like the list.

Updates when I don't want it to. I'll get done reading a story & then go back to the list of stories and then the list updates and goes to the top. I have to scroll down to where I was on the list and sometimes I can't get back to where I was. Let me control how the list of news stories updates. Theres no comment section either.

I just got a new Samsung Galaxy S23 a few months ago. I love the WXYZ app, however. The push notifications don't show up on my phone. When I go to the notifications menu in the settings menu the app does not show up in the list of apps on my phone.

Another new problem is anytime you try to open the weather portion of the app, it crashes! 5/14/24. New problem with this app is that when you open a story by the link, it's just not there. Just the picture and headline. Please fix. It doesn't happen in every story but I would say half of them. Change the format back to what it used to be.

I live in Granada, Nicaragua and wanted to see what was going on back in Detroit and Royal Oak where I used to live 7 years ago. I am really satisfied with the variety of Metro Detroit news and information provided by this app. Thanks, I miss Metro Detroit SOOO much 😔

This App Always stop 8 seconds into add stream for Internet provider. Then I have to wait while it buffers the ad to continue. And it is the same ad on every news/weather videos that I choose to view. At least have an opt out after 5 seconds like your competitors. All videos play fine except the ad. So I know it is the way you have the ad streaming set up. Iwill uninstall your App for this reason! Looks like the app has improved. It appears to be working fine now.
