Xero has helped me a lot with my invoicing. I can complete it before even leaving the job which means when i get home i can spend more time with the family rather than spending it doing paperwork.

Limited functions. For example, you can directly pay money through this app, but you cannot directly receive payment without creating invoice.

Love being able to keep accounts up to date on the go. It's also great to check on what's owed to us and any bills needing to be paid.

Xero is more expensive than our previous supplier but on the whole a better offering. The App has limited functionality and is essentially inadequate are caught without a laptop or wifi.

To whom it may concern. Use the pc version because the app is rubbish. Attachments being sent with invoices won't be sent, even after clicking, send attachments with invoice. Instead, download everything as a pdf and send through a normal email. I found this out by asking the other contractors using this service.

These guys can not be trusted with your companies credit card info, they've been progressively stealing from my bank account for months after my subscription was cancelled!!! Check your accounts guys, they cancel your subscription so you can't access xero but then keep charging your credit card as if it were still active. They actually had the audacity to charge twice in one month after the subscription cancellation. Awful effort Xero, shame on you. Stealing during a time like this? Shame!

Would like to be able to delete invoices and payments while using the app, as well as other features that are available on the desktop, but not on the app.

Poor system, i was forced to transfer from Quickbooks to xero by my account, so far ive had nothing but issues and the upload of receipts is long unlike quickbooks where you can upload a picture and all information is pulled from that picture making the time it takes to add expenses very quick but xero is not user friendly and will not do that for you. You also cannot edit the receipts once added. Would not recommend anyone to this app its also way to expensive for what you get.

I've recently been notified that my monthly subscription will be DOUBLED to maintain the same level of functionality. (They are reducing the functionality of my current tier, so I'll have to upgrade to keep my business running.) As a customer of 10 years I feel disregarded and taken advantage of. I've swallowed price increases across that entire period, but this is ridiculous. So rather than upgraded I'll change to a competitor.

Product is fine but beware of the listed price as it will go up - soon! They are consistently raising the price for little or no additional benefit. I've seen others refer to this as gouging. You decide!

Such a compact fit for purpose app. Easy to find all the basic needs of accounting and book keeping on the go. It's really quick to sort the invoices and send it too.

Absolutely obsessed with price increases. Be wary committing to Xero as prices have increased at least 3 times over the last couple years. Edit: Their response to this review makes no difference whatsoever to their numerous increases. The basics most small businesses need and what features Xero has added does not justify price increases.

Xero used to be a great accounting platform, but lately it's become a frustrating experience. Here's why: Constant Price Hikes: They keep raising prices, making it increasingly expensive for small businesses to stay on board. Forced Changes: They push unwanted changes onto users. The latest example is the new plan only allowing 1 person on payroll. Who runs a business with just 1 employee? Overall, Xero platform prioritizes profit over user needs. I don't recommend at all

New bug? I can't seem to attach a file without losing the information I have typed in. I have to type in the info, save, then go back into it to take and save photo of receipts etc. This has been happening for about 2 or 3 weeks and never did before after 4 years of use. Please advise? Otherwise I love this app!

Good app, but if you quote a job and need ti split the invoice. You have to create a hole new invoice. Which means the quote that's accepted just sit there untill you either delete or click invoiced. Also would like to put line items in a quote with out having to put a price In or a item number. There is alot of other programs that do both these things. If xero did the same it would be a 5 star app and program.

Mediocre at best. Despite suggesting showing all transactions and a more complete balance in 2019, the app still only shows reconciled transactions. If I wanted a bank balance, I'd use the bank's mobile app. Xero could be far more useful if the mobile app included unreconciled expenses in the balance. This is what orgs want to know: how much money is available to spend. Instead, Xero continues to deliver a crippled app that has not seen critical improvements to help businesses in three years.

I used to like this app to quickly submit expenses whether on the company credit card or my personal one. Now if you have to file personal expenses you have to get a whole different membership subscription and use a whole different app. It really defies the KISS principle and of course increases the cost to small business owners. it looks like we're going to have to look for an optional accoubting software program that doesn't provide so many hurdles and hidden costs.

The two factor authentification set up with Android is infuriating and not phone user friendly. Android doesn't automatically come with QR scanners and and you have to have a computer handy to even get the QR code. If you only have a phone and try to use the codes it sends you in a frustrating loop between apps and the codes don't even work half the time. The app also wouldn't recognize my second email. Bottom line: set up is terrible for phone users.

My experience with the app was excellent until recently. After a successful login the dashboard failed to load. I was prompted to check my internet connection and retry. This issue happens consistently in various geographic locations with trusted internet connections. Today, I sadly uninstalled the application. (Galaxy 7S) Sept 9th: Reinstalled with most recent update. Issue continues. Sept 10th update: today's update solved the problem.
