This app just sucks, I mean it is awful. Some channels work some don't. The lag time switching between channels is nail biting. Using the search function input only allows three letters at a time the freezes for a second. None of the other apps behave this way so it's definitely Xfinity Stream. Oh, don't let there be any kind of Weather.

Just don't go with Xfinity. There's nothing this app does better than any other streaming service, and plenty of things it does worse. If you want to watch 8 seconds of show, then 8 seconds of loading, then 8 seconds of show, then 8 seconds of loading, this is perfect for you! If you don't feel like starting and stopping 126 times in 10 minutes, then just go anywhere else.

I can not get the downloaded programs to play on an airplane. It's silly that I have to "return" them to my dvr before I can delete them too or watch them there. The app is my biggest disappointment among my 70 downloaded apps. It's clunky and dysfunctional. Does anyone at xfinity ever try and use their developed apps? This monopoly is a mess. I pay $250 per month for this garbage service. It's a big problem.

A bit glitchy or temperamental at certain times when attempting to watch a station but a simple reboot or refresh of my Android Samsung phone usually does the trick. It's been a lifesaver since sciatica has kept me bedridden and unable to watch my regular cable TV from a chair in my home office. Love the clarity seen and volume heard of the various streamed shows seen off of this Xfinity streaming app! Hope it keeps up with slight improvements!

This is a useless app if you're outside your home wifi area, nothing is allowed to play, that's their default setting. I used to be able to watch on demand and my recorded DVR shows when traveling and was just enlightened by an xfinity rep... my cell phone provider is a conflict💡 xfinity now sells cell phone service which they didn't previously. I'll be uninstalling this useless app because I'm not changing my cell provider just to use it when it would actually be useful.

Absolutely the WORST app I've ever used. Constantly glitches and freezing. Then you click "resume" the episode and it starts over. You have to watch every single ad again. Will not auto play next episode, I have no idea why they even still exist. It's amazing to me that ANYONE still pays them

I love this app when it works. I download my recordings so I don't use cellular data later. Something with these last updates though logs me out daily and deletes my downloads. Which then forces me to use up my limited cell data. I have deleted, reinstalled, used different Internet browser, you name it. There's no sense for me to try to contact customer support, because this issue probably isn't on their prompt. I need the app developer/engineering to look into this. Only the Stream app.

This app never works. With other tv apps, I open the app and begin watching what I want within 5 seconds of opening the app. With stream, I open it, go to live TV, search for the channel I want, select it, and from there....the screen hangs with three waiting dots that never displays the TV program I want to view. I'm on my own xfinity network too.

Clunky. No picture in screen function. Difficult to reload a channel. No channel number input (you have to literally scroll thru all live channels) If you're viewing a program listing that begins in a few minutes you can't simply jump to that channel from the listing. It's like they've never once updated it since the original version and if it has been updated the people who do the programming certainly don't use this app

This is the most inconsistent app on the face of the Earth. I stream from my TV, and it will work for one channel. I will change to another, and all i get is it loading and doing nothing. Fix it. This is God awful. How many times do I have to restart my TV for this app to work? How about putting all that time and effort for your cell phone service into making a streaming app that CONSISTENTLY works.

Well, since I haven't tried the installation on my phone for long, I am rating the non-existent app for my PC. You calim that there is an app for everyting, including PCs and other computers. I tried to down load and it will not, says my device is not compatible. It is a brand ne HP Envy x360. So far super unimpressed with a lot about xfinity. This is one more thing.

Garbage. There is nothing about this app that has any value. It takes forever to load, when it finally does load it's very glitchy going through the menus. When you play something the video is constantly lagging to where things in motion have Trails behind them and are blurry. Many times when you're watching something it will freeze like every 15 seconds. Sometimes when you select the app it never loads. You can leave it there for half an hour and it will never load and just keep hourglassing.

There always seems to be some issue with this app. The app either has issues connecting to the head end, VoD content not playing to the end, or individual channels not playing. Currently, the MSNBC channel plays but without any sound. It's not a device issue (running the latest version of OS and other streaming apps work without any problems). Is it really that difficult to build a streaming app?

This app used to be functional. I used to be able to watch shows on the go that had been saved to my DVR. Admittedly, the app never liked playing while connected to the wifi in my car, but it did well over data. Now, it wont connect at all over data, and wont function with wifi either. All of my attempts to watch anything saved on my DVR on the app are met with a message akin to "we're experiencing difficulties" or something along those lines. Lousy.

Terrible, shotty at best. Continously slow, I can barely make it 30 seconds before the show, movie, or recording has to buffer again. Sometimes it works but the picture quality is so bad its not worth it. I feel like I'm paying a premium price for an inferior product. The only reason I have this is its the only provider that carries tge channel my favorite sports teams or on. If you have other options for your favorite shows, use them. Not this app.

Terrible. Constantly freezes & lags. I have yet to watch a program that doesn't get an error message. "SOMETHING WENT WRONG ". Never happens with Netflix or other streaming platforms, so the problem isn't with the Internet, but with the CABLE APP. I end up frustrated, I exit Xfinity to watch other streaming apps that don't have constant interruptions. Don't bother calling for help, they don't let you talk to anyone until you text & jump through a thousand other ways to fix it yourself.

App works fine on my Samsung Galaxy S20. Works terribly on my Samsung QLED TV. All other apps work great on the TV. Sometimes it takes 10 to 15 minutes to connect. The resolution on the TV sucks. Switching between channels is awkward and takes a few seconds to pick up the next channel. Can't help but think it's intentional by Xfinity to get us to rent their cable box every month.
