WARNING: Robber baron money pit. You can pay a ridiculous subscription OR if you want to make a one-time purchase, it's marked down 35% - it was $99.99, now it's only $65. How somebody has the nerve to ask for such a price for a translation app is beyond me. Avoid these people like the plague.

Doesn't translate anything. Loads then runs the PDF through it's system without the translation.

nice and better then google translate just to much ad's and I like that u can take photo and translate it with all the negative away this is a translate app that I recommend to people

I would give it zero if I could. it's a tsunami of ads before you navigate to the translator. I never even got it open. avoid at all cost.

So far so good. Retains paragraph structure from the original.. Most of the translation apps don't.. And Google translate is filled with errors.

I tried taking a survey in Vietnamese, and it got to a point where I got an ad every second. The app isn't lying when it says there are ads. πππ

Can't give 1 star as I didn't test other languages or functions but can confirm it hilariously fails at image translating Bulgarian to English, basically just changing the script but leaving the letters in (somewhat) the same order creating nonsense.

I paid for this thing and still get ads.They limit your translations and want you to purchase an upgrade to translate more.It won't even translate a photo of text for me.Useless.I don't like being ripped off.

I have had this app on my phone for awhile now and I like it very much. But now that translation has been added makes it phenomenal! We have other people in our country that some don't speak English yet, and while they are trying to learn English, I can use the translation of this app to understand what they are trying to say. This is a wonderful tool in this situation. Thank you to those who are responsible for adding translation to this app!

I gave up on even trying to work out if I like this app as I got so sick of fighting off the adds. Literally every five seconds I was hit with an add that led me to the play store to buy another thing I didn't want.

it went well for a while (like 7 minutes) until I had to either pay to translate or to watch ads for each time I wanted to translate. that's why this app deserves 2 stars. it's pointless to wait so long just to translate a few sentences. Also, I can't even mute the camera sound it makes when I want to picture translate something, so that's not helping this app case at all.

you are very fast in getting the subscription from us before even us knowing whether this app works fine or not. had a very bad experience. tried converting a excel from Chinese to English but it stopped mid way before completing.

I don't recommend this app due to its ads. No one has time to wait for ads to end before being able to speak with each other, especially in a foreign country. Additionally, some people are hoping to use this while immigrating or emmegrating. They especially need these translations on the spot, they don't have time for ads. Due to these issues, I will delete xtranslate and use an app that works instantly, rather than expect natives and locals to wait for ads before I can speak to them.

The extreme amount of ads and ad placement makes this app unusable. Edit: Thank you for your reply. My 1 star rating stands. The problem isn't that there are ads. The problem is that the ads take up nearly the entire screen. When you can't navigate an app without inadvertently opening an ad that is an issue. Banner ads are a viable option.

Worked very well. Had a doctor's note with a medication list with a header. It translated with the header and the two separate columns. Though a black bar is over some of the header, it's still very good. I tried another app that had a 4.6 but separated the header and two columns into one, making it unreadable even in my own language. I will be checking the accuracy of the language with my neighbor. I'll update if it's inaccurate. If not it also translated well.

Not only do the ads take up too much space (so that I accidentally click on them), but the 'click here to exit the ad' button is so small that I usually end up clicking the ad. Worst of all, the photo translation feature in the free version can't translate basic Japanese! I just get an error message saying it's junk text. Google Translate is free and EASILY translates Japanese in pictures, so there's no excuse for this.

Horrible. It wouldn't translate nothing All it kept doing was just play ads after ads. No image translate either. No screenshot translate also. All it also wanted to do is share with others. All I wanted it to do was Translate the darn words. Too aggravating as ever really to me. I don't know why it wouldn't Translate anything for me. Sometimes some apps just won't work.

horrible app! every Single translation is treated as a type of purchase. you have to watch 2 videos that are 60 seconds long each. 2 minutes worth of ads for a single translation? π the translation doesn't even come out right or even at all most times. 2 out 10 translations were correct. for 2 minutes worth of ads. that's 20 minutes worth of ads for 2 correct translations! I will uninstall immediately after posting this review. sorry to cut it short, but I'm just ready to uninstall!
