~Where'd the corners go? 🙎‍♂️ The floating window now has rounded corners. ~There's a LONG-TIME issue with the video not playing, playing with audio-only, etc if the app hasn't been closed and restarted since its last use. ~I constantly have to choose the best resolution rather than allow the app to choose it automatically ~Streams will sometimes error-out and require an app restart to get the option to resume from last play. ~I'm sick and tired of having to deal with this 🐂💩!

This app hasn't gotten soooo bad, with the buttons not working. It was fine before but updates ruined the experience. Such a big company with programmers who don't know what they're doing to simply get easy commands to work. I can only make a few things work but I have to open and close the app several times and hope to get lucky to change channel so. Live hasn't worked forever.

Definitely not worth the price. I got the trial to watch sports because it can easily record games for your team or the whole sport. But the recorded games are often in low res. even though it'll say 1080p it's often not plus lag and distortions even though it's a recording of a nationally televised game. Tried changing quality settings and rewinding. Absurd that it's a problem for the price and one the biggest tech companies. Other features like key plays often don't work either.

Impossible to control. Doesn't respond. Expensive. Just a completely incapable app. As a developer I would add a feature for auto mute commercials. and also auto channels switch scheduler so we can watch our daily shows without messing with it. Running from PS5 if you bump a button it fast forwards to the next show and won't take you back to finish the show you were watching. At the same price as cable and all the commercials... I see no reason to keep this service.

App crashes constantly on my Galaxy S21 ultra. Uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Glad it was just a free trial or I'd be pissed. Edit: Back again 3 years later to say that on arguably the highest end Android phone in the market, the S24 ultra, this app is still entirely worthless. The crashes every time I rotate my screen. It crashes 100% of the time in picture and picture mode. And oftentimes it just straight up crashes when I'm navigating the menu without anything playing.

The app works but what it shows for movies we wanted to see, were colr 80s movies. Brewster's mill, back to school, when we went into to watch them they were showing some blk n white movies. It was more than these 2. I don't remember the names. We just checking maybe 2 messed up. It happens . No they were all blk n wht We wanted to subscribe to the TV and get rid of ATnT. YouTube would have been half the price. Maybe it was free trial?? Don't know but not keeping it.

4/24 The developers of this application clearly don't use the app. When I watch something from my library that is currently being recorded, I don't get the option to start from the beginning. I can only choose "Join Live" or "Resume from last watched" even though I haven't watched any of the show. For this reason, I do not recommend this app. It's a disappointment. 5/24 Still a disappointment.

I love this app. It's Google so it makes suggestions on what to watch based on what you watch regularly. Shows programs you usually watch when they usual on. You can record, pause and rewind live TV. It has local channels and when you travel you get that city local stations However, price continues to go up as they try to be an alternative for cable. I started at 54 to 64. Now 72 and probably will go up. And it did. 82, bucks 😔

We really like YouTube TV. We can't complain about the channels available because they have plenty. I find their lineup to be closest to what we had with Xfinity. We found that cutting the cable cord has not saved us anything money wise because the Youtube TV package is the same as Xfinity we had before. We do save the $10 per month cable box monthly rental fee but not a huge savings to switch. The channel menu is too interfaced. Need more concise to see all or more channels at once to choose.

I have been a customer for 4 years and today 4/12/24 YouTube TV changed the TV app interface for our library of recorded shows, and it's a terrible design. It's no longer defaulting to an alphabetical list of the shows we record, which only took a couple quick couple clicks to find and watch. Now, its defaulting to unwatched shows and takes 8 clicks to navigate, sort, and finally select the show I want. This service costs way too much to have a garbage user interface. Please fix!

The app is absolute garbage. I don't know what the deal is, but most of the time it's just black with sound. If I hit the back arrow I'll the. Get a screen where the video plays but I can't do picture in picture, pause, or rewind. I'll restart the app 10-15 times and then it'll work fine. But it's so bad I'll cancel youtube tv after this month and go somewhere else to watch basketball.

Finally the ability to go between two channels!Now they need to fix the volume issue as the volume on commercials is very high compared to regular programimg. This is very annoying and I have to mute the commercials, especially the YouTube TV commercials. Similarly, volume across channels varies from low to high. Some channels are so high I have to lower the vol. No way to turn off Neilson monitoring as privacy option!

New interface (April 2024) is horrible! Especially aggravating is that the "series" tab no longer lists shows in alphabetical order so it takes A LOT of scrolling to find where they've randomly placed them. There was nothing wrong with the previous version and, to me, it was much more intuitive. Hate it when companies make unnecessary changes and end up making things worse instead of better!

Was a great app, but now I have to force close it and restart every time I pause content and turn off my screen. For whatever reason the app seems to freeze constantly now. I've missed a lot of content because of this. A great app if you never have to pause your shows. Edit: Removed one star. I'm so happy I don't pay for this app. It is so buggy that if I had to pay I would cancel immediately. Just terrible. Have had much better experiences with Fubo, Sling, and even Hulu.

Service is Horrible, Base plan quit working on one of my 2 TV's and the non-working TV just sits there "spinning". It does not even let me enter the verification number. on my phone, computer etc. Can't find any phone support and none of the many help screens help at all. All I seem to be able to do is cancel my membership which I don't want to do. I just want the TV to start working again. Rebooting TV and ROKU access doesn't do anything, Both TV's are on the router. Works on cell phone.

You guys should fix your android app. It's been an issue for ages. Most of the time I open it and stations either give me a black screen until I close and reopen the app a few times or it just goes to the wrong station until I close and reopen. It's been an issue on multiple phones now so it's not a "clear your cache and reboot" problem. Volume is also softer than other apps.

You can select a show over and over while the previous selection plays. Useless. Also, if you skip ahead a few seconds, it buffers so slow you have to wait to do anything else. This is likely deliberate, so you can't skip the 5 minutes of ads at each break. I tolerate this app for 1 reason, and when that is over I will cancel all Google subscriptions.
