Was excited to try it but App Store says my data is not encrypted. Can't trust a company that doesn't use encryption in 2025.

You pay less, drivers earn more. It's a no-brainer. And there are plenty of drivers now. It's easily the best option in SF.

I've already received a phone call regarding my experiences with them. The sure is a decent sounding company I would like to work for them if I could. It would be great to help these drivers make an honest living.

Who are the drivers & how did they sign up to become a driver? The website says to download this app, but then there's no where I can find to actually sign up to drive??? What are the different areas where this service is available? We need more info PLEASE!

I've taken 5 rides so far. Prices were cheaper than Lyft 4/5 times. Drivers say they get paid more but it's only worth it for them if more people use the app.

I downloaded the app. After entering my phone number it sent a 4 digit code for me to enter to verify my number. I can't find any place to enter it. There are no links or boxes on the screen that I can find. Down loaded the app from Google play

nice when it works. Very few drivers in the area. The app *was* easy enough to use until it stopped working, haven't been able to open it for a week now so im just getting rid of it.

Easy to use, very clear, price is NOT hidden like in Uber or Lyft. Yride shows more honest information upfront, and it's better for the driver they make 100% after the insurance. I hope Yride do NOT forget when it becomes big, because usually when it's too big, they forget where it came from and start ripping off the customer and also cutting the driver commission as well, just like Uber and Lyft.

It's ok for being a new service. But support NEVER reads the messages. And if you text your driver in the app, Yride connects you both using your personal phone numbers. That's not too safe if you ask me. Also, it's nearly impossible to block specific drivers if you ask support because support never reads the messages.

They're an alternative to Uber and Lyft and I think having some competition is good, and they do seem to do better for drivers. However, Drivers constantly don't accept or accept and then cancel, presumably because the fare isn't worth their time. That's a terrible experience if you're in a rush or stuck in the dark somewhere. Yride, please make this better - I try to use you but 75% of the time I end up having to take Uber anyway!

Their website has a link to download this app if one is interested in becoming a driver, but there seems to be no way to do so. Furthermore, after realizing the account they set up for me was a passenger account I "deleted" my account. It says it takes up to 48 hours for account deletion, but weeks later my account is still available, as I've tried to reinstall to see if setting up the account had some obscure toggle or button indicating I was trying to set up a driver account. Nope, weeks later

Unreliable, I've requested a ride for several months numerous times, but it never showed anyone who can take me to my destination.

Soooooooo many unnecessary notifications. Your options are: 1) Tons of notifications advertising the app you've already installed, 2) Disable notifications: no spam, but also no notifications about booked rides, or 3) Uninstall the app. After getting bothered every single day I chose #3.

This app fully delivers on its promise of flat-rate fares and lower cost to riders (sometimes slightly more than Uber/Lyft but often significantly less, esp. during rush hour). While it has a few rough edges, all the most important features work more than fine, including cancelation refunds and contacting drivers. Some reviews mention long waiting times, but I haven't experienced those issues (maybe due to more drivers now). My only complaint is that scheduled rides don't often get accepted.
