I see people rating Zaxby's food: It's fantastic! But the app is absolutely terrible. There are so many glitches, it crashes frequently, it always signs me out, etc. I tried to un/reinstall, but now it won't even download, much less reinstall. I've lost all my accrued points. Don't waste your time downloading it. I'd eat there often if they had a good app. In this economy, I need the discounts you only get through apps. It's too expensive otherwise.

Really enjoy the app until recently, all of a sudden the store doesn't have traditional wings on the menu except in some huge party pack. Also the option to schedule a pickup time is pointless because zero out of three times I tried it, I had to wait 20 minutes for the food to cook. What's the point of an app to order a head, and you still have to wait.

Doesn't work. I wasted an hour trying to place an order for pickup or delivery and every time it gave the same error. I tried on the website, same issue. I keep getting a "address could not be verified" message even when I select a store for pickup. Very frustrating. App is also very slow and loads for 30 sec - 1 min after tapping on anything. At the end of it all, I got charged three times but no food. It's like a when a vending machine steals your change, but much worse.

Of all the fast food apps out there, this one goes the distance to finish dead last. It's not just bad. Others are bad. This is worse. Can't put a credit card on the account until the EXACT moment you decide to place an order. Can't pick up in drive thru. Logged me out after toggled to keep me logged in. Some how cannot connect back to account. No reward is worth this hassle.

Seems unfinished, doesn't include all menu items, and after the last update I think it's bricked the app. It has a continuous loading circle when I try to order. I think it's locked me out of the rewards coupon too, which is the biggest draw of signing up for these ordering apps. Doesn't seem totally broken, maybe it'll get fixed soon, because as is it's unusable. I can't order, so until it's fixed it should be changed to a zero. If they get it back to where it was at its a fine app tho

This app will let you get your order together then freezes and crashes as soon as you try to confirm and send it through. Don't try to edit your order either, that will crash too. Honestly it's easier to look at the menu in app and call the store versus trying to get this thing to work which is what I end up doing every time. The only plus I have is that it hasn't given me any transaction errors when it doesn't work (which is all the time).

App seems shaky. It took a long time to load, my order was pending while I was in the drive thru and I wasn't sure it had gone through. Then I saw an email (thankfully) because the app was still saying I needed to check my internet connection. The rows under each item are tiny and selecting an item how it comes is clicking on a lot options. Could improve. Also, I downloaded the app for rewards but they are few and far between.

Honestly since the lockdown, I've enjoyed using this app so I don't have to wait in the long drive through line. Unfortunately since the last update on Sept. 9th, I have been unable to order anything. I can view my rewards, profile, find a store, anything, but when I click the Order button, I get stuck on an infinite loading screen. I've lost 3 rewards so far because they've expired while I couldn't order. If they fix this, I'll gladly boost my rating to 4 stars.

This new revision of the app does look a lot better but it has lost some functionality. You used to be able to order a pickup and have the option to fill you own drink up. Which was important because you had more choices on the drink if you filled it yourself (the crazy coke machine with the display screen). The way your rewards are rang up is clunky and could be confusing to some people. Like before, I should be able to go to rewards, click what I want and it adds it to the cart.

Since my first review of the app in July, it's become a lot more stable (and actually usable) in the last few updates. Sometimes the sign-in page will be buggy, but I've cleared that up by closing and reopening the app or clearing the cache. The in-app experience is serviceable - I still think the top left tab has way too many options at once. Meanwhile, the main menu suffers from having strangely large icons compared to other pages. Inconsistent app design, but maybe that will be streamlined.

The new version sucks. Keeps notifying me and showing me I have a reward, but when I go to use it, all the sudden I have to re-login, and it disappears. Also, they scanned yesterday but I haven't gotten the points. Hate the point based rewards and the interface is confusing and complicated. Will use whatever points left and uninstall. Not worth the headache or space on my phone.

This app is pointless in most respects. It's not intuitive. You can't earn rewards after you've paid, which is incredibly inconvenient. Rewards are so few and far between (and they either expire or they constantly disappear) that it actually demotivates me to even eat there, even though I use to eat there at least twice a month. You need to be able to add your receipts and earn rewards after ordering and paying, you shouldn't have to grab your phone and hand it through a drive-thru window.

Horrible!!! If Zaxbys wasn't so good this app would chase people away. This is by far the worst and least intuitive app I've ever used. Very difficult. One example - to add your birhday you get to scroll through dates. Imagine being 30, 40, 50 plus & having to scroll back through dates one month at a time for that many years. And once you start, you can't remove it. Whole app functions similarly. Another issue, no internet no completing your order. I'll just be using drive through for now.

The old app version (before Sept 2022) was bare-bones but worked. This new version is just full of loading screens and makes you log in regularly while not supporting the Android auto fill api. Point scanning at the register is slower with no obvious feedback that it scanned. I like the idea of being able earn rewards later if there is an issue, but this feature is incomplete to the point of being worthless. If have to enter it between 4 and 48 hours after your visit (the 72 hours is a lie).

This app doesn't work correctly. It malfunctioned the first time I used it. I added one meal and then changed my mind. I added a second meal and then, on the review screen, I tapped the first meal as instructed to try to remove it. The app responded with a spinning circle for two minutes so I closed it. I then got an email with a completed transaction for both meals even though I never submitted the order. The restaurant was helpful and gave me cash back for the meal I didn't want. Deleting.

Terrible app. The bane of my existence. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Wifi and data. Multiple attempts over several months and it is still unusable. I select options for the salad and click "add to cart", but it simply doesn't add it to my cart. I've tried mixing up the options and that worked once when I switched the dressing. I've tried "reorder", but that doesn't work either. Some other items (that I don't actually want) add to my cart without issue. They'd get more business if the app worked.

App is junk. The "Scan the code" button in the top right doesn't work. Press the button, nothing happens. Enter codes and it comes back "invalid codes". Pure junk. I mean look at all of the other reviews. It has an average of 2.4 rating! That's terrible. I wouldn't even mention the app in future commercials if I were Zaxby's marketing team.

Can't even log in to the app for past MONTHS. It ain't my network setting either, because issue has persisted across multiple networks. And I don't use a VPN. Eta: Before I wrote the review I obviously tried switching from data to wifi, because that's step one of troubleshooting and part of what "across multiple networks" means. And it didn't resolve a thing. I actually found a fix on Reddit that had absolutely nothing to do with data, wifi, or a vpn.

This app rarely allows me to enter loyalty points. The pop-up window closes immediately after opening. Sometimes, after numerous attempts, I get lucky. But I generally end up having to call the 800 number to get points added to my account. Pretty frustrating. Based on my conversation with Zaxby's support, it sounds like a common issue. Love the restaurant, but not a fan of the app.

It's beyond ridiculous, aggravating, and annoying that I have to deal with the app closing immediately before I have a chance to complete my order. I've tried clearing the cache and uninstalling, downloading, and reinstalling the app and attempting to enter in my order only to be subjected to the same hassle again. Until the developers fix the app and rid it of problems like what I've described, it's practically worthless and not worth the hassle and frustration of using the app.
