This is a gorgeous game. the graphics and music are so relaxing, and the little prey animals are quite creative in the ways they're designed and move. this was a boredom download, and honestly I'm quite pleased with this game, so I'll keep it for a while. ads are minimal to non-existent, which is nice, and please keep it that way or I may lower my star count. again, a beautiful game and i highly recommend it.

I love this game, letting my koi eat and grow into beautiful dragons. It's very relaxing with the calming sounds and music. My one problem is that when the game updated yesterday, after I went to expand my pond there would be an ad. The ad would kill the music for the gameplay and music. There's some parts of the game that rely on the sound ques. I hope this gets fixed soon.

I love the fact it's not pushy at all, but with the edition of the daily quests, there's now a fun little challenge to it. The new edible critters are cute, and the over all pond's updated details are nice. Oh, the dragons are neat too! I just started playing, but I was a big fan of the first one, so I'm sure the second one will be a keeper too.

Great game. Had it for many months now, and had the original also. I'm not super into completing collections, but I do quite enjoy trying to get my favorite colors and patterns. I love that there's more fish to eat, but the dragons were a let-down. It'd be really cool if a dragon you've raised could swim into the pond trailing small amounts of essence and give a pearl if you can catch up rather than just be a silly connect the dot game. But, overall, it's fun and relaxing.

My favorite game! No forced ads or pay-to-play/level up, and gameplay is so soothing with smooth animations and gorgeous graphics. It soothes my anxiety like a charm. You can play completely free, which is highly unusual, but you can also help support the developers by watching ads to earn extra in-game currency, and you can also buy special koi patterns, both entirely optional. This is one of the few games I keep coming back to because I can actually keep playing it without shelling out money.

This is the perfect "brainless" game for me! interesting and captivating enough to hold my attention, but relaxing enough to help me shut my brain off and fall asleep at night. A tall order, to say the least! My ONLY complaint is the wifi issue that has popped up in the last couple of months. ZK2 will no longer connect/populate while I'm connected to ANY wifi. I have a nearly-new phone running Android Pie, and never had any problems until a month or two ago. PLEASE FIX THIS BUG! Thanks! :)

I wish it were just a biiiiiit faster because it feels slow crossing the pond at higher levels, even with good speed. Other than that, controls are great, the fish are gorgeous, and it's not pushy with the ads like a lot of other games. Though I do admit- I hate the red puffer fish. It's usually like "Stop stabbing me I just want to go ASCEND." But I don't see any suggestion that wouldn't be exploited.

A delightful game with a comfortable art style and lovely concept. If you have played Spore, it may remind you a little of that game's cell stage (or at least, that was the parallel I drew). My only criticism is that sometimes it can be difficult to figure out certain things - it took some time before I realized that you were supposed to attack the pufferfish from behind. Does not detract hugely from the game experience, and overall still a relaxing and surprisingly addictive game!

This is a beautiful game and could easily be a five star game with work. But the controls are so inaccurate that you can be traveling in a direction, say to the right of the screen and suddenly, your koi or dragon moves left. You lose mating opportunities, get stuck in red kelp... Ugh. Secondly, instructions on how to play the game would be nice. Being able to target other koi for eggs would also be nice, especially with the glitchy movement.

love this game. the colors are wonderful and the fish are fun to collect and look at. it has good gameplay and an structure that's satisfying to make progress in. not any unrequested ads, and not pay-to-win either. the only minor thing that gets me is that when you go right or left you can't see what's in front of you, which can be inconvenient if a red puffer fish happens to hate your guts. but that's only because of the screen, so not the game's design at fault.

I love this game. The extras they've added are great! The prey is a bit more challenging & I enjoy decorating my own pond. My only issue is the Daily Challenge has "gift or get koi from a friend" way too often. I have no friends, & it seems the only way to get them is on Facebook. I don't want to play on Facebook. I've gotten tired of needing friends for game play, and don't want to do that again. I would love to see different challenges.

I've been playing this nearly every day for years. It definitely takes patience: it's not a dopamine treadmill, which I like about it. It's peaceful. I like to play with the music off while listening to lectures because it gives my hands something to do and helps retain the material. Many of the koi patterns and palettes are visually interesting. There's a Discord for trading. $2=no ads, unless you choose to watch them. It is possible to play well without further purchases, if you strategize.

EDIT: the game finally loaded, ive been playing it. But its started doing the same thing again. The developers response was for me to reinstall the game. This means I lose all my progress. In a game that's mostly about collection, I can't see how this isn't a giant design flaw. Loved the first one.... First one worked tho. It just keeps telling me that there are files that are taking too long to download. I read a review complaining of the same problem and the response was that he needed to reinstall the game on mobile data. I've only installed it on mobile data from the start, and I'm currently reinstalling it an eighth time. Been excited about this game all day, but I still cant play it.

Love love love!! The music is delightful, gameplay is easy, and the graphics are fantastic! It's relaxing, which is what I was looking for, and even though I haven't figured all the controls yet I'm having an amazing time just swimming my way around the pond chasing cute little creatures and learning as I go. Each new discovery is a new burst of joy for me!

This is a beautiful game! It's very soothing and fun to play, plus they've added a bunch of awesome details the first game didn't have. There's new colors that vary by koi species, daily quests, a side pond you can customize, and a ton of new prey. This is one of the very, very few games I've found that is 100% NOT pay-to-win. I applaud the devs for finding a perfect balance between too easy and frustratingly difficult, and sticking to their model without getting greedy. Highly recommended!

A nice game. A bit redundant but I like the idea of getting the collections complete, even if it takes a long time to make each into a dragon. It's supposed to be a relaxing game but there are ads with every couple of clicks and no way to add friends outside of Facebook, which means I can't complete the daily challenges. A lot of pearls are needed and are hard to come by. I will watch the voluntary ads for these, and do. I just want less forced ads and possibly more variety in the game play.

It's relaxing, yet frustrating, at the same time. Achievements don't work correctly: I gift koi to friends, but I don't get credit for it and didn't get pearls, which are difficult to earn. Also, things aren't explained well. For example, I thought it was a bug that I would pass over fish without eating them until I realized that I was breaking pieces of shell or armor on the fish and that you have to keep chasing it, touching it several times until you catch it. It can be tedious: not Zen.

Very relaxing game. In my opinion, there isn't enough of a reward/"victory lap" once you unlock a dragon. I want to play as the dragon in the pond after he ascends, or have higher stat limits for future fish, or more of the pond unlocked. I don't like that I start completely over with every new fish, but I don't think that aligns with the goals of the game. The game does its job very well. It has good mechanics, and peaceful graphics, music, and sound effects.

If you have patience or little issues controlling impulsivity, you won't see your wallet become thinner faster than you ever could on a healthy diet. Alas, taking advantage of neuroatypical players is pretty much the foundation of the free-to-play mobile game economy, so this aspect is unsurprising. What is surprising though is just how elegant, simple, yet engaging it is. I really wish there were a $10 version of it where restrictions on inventory aren't stressful.

Edit to the response. I'll watch ads for free stuff, no problem, but every time i check on my progress, there's an ad when i leave the menu. It makes me not want to play. Either have less of those ads or have a paid version with ad free. I dont mind the ads on the bottom that just hang out or ask if I'll watch for a free peral every now and then. But every time i go to check to see if i have enough for making the stones is crazy
