If I could get it to connect to the cameras and the network I could give it a better rating. But until it at least works I can't (and won't) rate it any higher. ******** Update******** I boxed these up and moved to a new house. Haven't touched them since the move. I unboxed them last night and have 4 cameras up and running. Updated firmware, installed the app. Very pleased at this point. Nice features for the price. Good video quality Would recommend.

We have had this system for several years. They have 3 different apps zmoto, Zsight, and Meshare. All are bad. They recently updated their apps. They no longer send notifications and 2 don't even record the events. A system is more than hardware. They found a way to make bad software worse. 11/06/2021 update:. Your recent update didn't work with the pixel 4a. The menu bar at the top to select which camera and the setting icon are under the notification bar and can't be selected. Worthles

Having a security cam system is cheaper than those other home security services and will make any criminal element look elsewhere.. zmodo is an okay product the only issue I have is that ( having to pay for the security system, the hard drive, the Wi-Fi, the electricity bill ) in order for it to function is one thing but, having to pay for the "extra features" doesn't seem right because if I bought a product that has features already built in which why/what I paid for how can zmodo charge xtra4

Cheap system which is the good news. Bad news started at set up. Wouldn't work, I called for help and sent emails no one ever got back. Eventually, get this,Google Wifi customer service managed to help me get zmodos system running. THEN, I pay for the cloud playback. It is slow as molasses in loading & you miss any motion you may want to on a security system because for whatever reason the playback is in 10 second increments. slow loading live too, if you hear a noise and want to see asap? nope

Before this last update it worked great, however since then it's giving me motion update alerts every 20 to 30 minutes. Chatting with customer service their option is turning off all alerts. This does away with the ring alert on the doorbell that I don't want. It wasn't broke why break it. Even after changing it to "Home" I'm still getting motion alerts. This is a first generation greet, no option to change motion detection area. Review stands.

This is a good app., but please try not to misunderstand what I'm about to say.... it is NOT very user friendly by any means. I have LITERALLY spent not just a few minutes, but HOURS trying to sync my Android device, which by the way is a ZTE Max Xl w/running version 7.1.1, 4G LTE on Sprint's network. Yeah, I'm not a happy camper right now.... I just wanted to let you know what I've experienced just SIMPLY (HA HA) syncing a VERY GOOD Android device to your app. Good day!

I've used this app, the meshare app, and the funlux app for several years with some bugs, but suddenly it won't let me login on either of the apps I named. I tried to reset my password and told user does not exist. So it won't take my login information, and it won't let me reset my password. Lastly, it gives an error message when I try to set up a new account with a different email address. What the heck?!

I have never had a problem with this app and I have been using it for over 5 years now, BUT with the newest update I can't even get in the app all I get is the blue screen with the logo in the middle, if I uninstall it and reinstall I can get in once then back to the blue logo screen, very discouraging and I pay for a yearly subscription..please help

Update 3/19/24 will not let me log in since last update yesterday. Ready to switch services this is annoying constantly being unavailable Doesn't record all movement even tho I pay for cloud subscription. Hardly loads when it does it takes forever. Used to work great not sure what's going on. Also lags. While I'm watching real time, it just freezes.

I'm not sure what you all are doing to this app, but it seems to be getting worse and worse with each update. I've had to log in multiple times after uninstalling and reinstalling it multiple times. It takes a long time to display my cameras now, and motion detection notifications are extremely delayed as well. Definitely not like it used to be, and I've had this for years. Huge disappointment.

I did the new update several days ago and now all of my cameras say connection timed out. I have tried to Uninstall the app and reinstall it several times and it continues to have the same issue. Checked all my connections, wifi and still has issues. I have been using zmodo for 12 years and this has never happened before with any of the previous updates. Must fix ASAP.

Edited. App SUCKS. WON'T LET US VIEW VIDEOS ANYMORE OR PLAY BACK. LIVED THESE FOR 8 YEARS AND NOW THIS? DEFINITELY SWITCHING COMPANIES AFTER THIS!!!! Use to love these but now getting harder and harder to reconnect them. Some of ours won't even connect anymore because the app won't load right. We have 4 cameras. Down to 2 because the others won't connect but they show up on the wifi to connect them but app won't let me choose internet connection.

I've been using these cameras for years with only occasional app glitches. A new update was pushed 2 days ago and ever since the app will work for a couple hours and then I have to uninstall and reinstall to get the app to launch. I've force stopped, cleared cache, restarted my phone, all the usual suspects before uninstalling and the app refuses to progress past the initial launch screen of a white Z on a blue background. At this time I cannot even access my own cameras.

I've been using these cameras for several years. It's a hit or miss if something is caught on camera or it stops recodingwhile movementis still going on ,Unless you pay for cloud service. Even then, you need to search through the recordings, which are not real time. HOWEVER, past several days it's recording but i cant see it. App won't let me see live or recorded or add/delete camera. I'm paying for service i can't use and wont let me cancel BS!!!!Did delete/install app, pushed reset button.

Whatever you do don't update the app. It's constantly crashing. Update - the app no longer loads. I still get push messages from my four cameras but I can't access the app to see the videos. Even deleting and reinstalled many times. I can log on 1x after the reinstall and then I just have a blue screen with their logo. Logged online and see my account is up on 4/8. Will be deleting my account for all 4 cameras on 4/7. Moving to Wyze.

All was well until this most recent update. Many freezes and "Connection timed out" messages when trying to load the video feed. Tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, restarting my phone, and it still does this multiple times daily. The only workaround I have found is by clearing the data and then re-logging in. Doesn't do much good for surveillance when you can not watch the cameras!

I have been a paying customer for 8 years. This past week the app has not been working. Either a blue screen or everything has timed out. Yes, I have done the usual...restart my phone, clear the cache etc. The only thing that makes the app work is to uninstall and reinstall daily. Several times a day if you check your camera's more than once. However, the notifications work just fine but you can't view what you are being notified about...smh. Fix this issue or lose paying customers.

I've used the Zmodo app with the black Pivot for a number of years. Ever since the most recent update, app doesn't connect to the camera. I tried resetting the Pivot by pressing the top for 10 seconds. Now I can't pair it to the app. I tried to remove the Pivot from the app so I could try to set it up from scratch but it won't delete. I tried adding the Pivot again but that doesn't work either. The last app update turned this into a piece of garbage and that's exactly where it is right now.

STILL JUNK!! No response from support... Ever! DON'T DO IT! Update: Half of my cameras still don't work. Don't waste your money on a bum product. The cameras and app used to work great! We bought 2 new cameras and less than 3 months later neither one works. They wont stay connected no matter what we do. We've tried everything! It is not a wifi issue either. Something is wrong with this service. I wish we could get our money back but that wont ever happen. Lesson learned. Dont buy Zmodo!

Crashes all the time now. For the last 6 months I try to look at my camera and it won't even open. I've uninstalled 3 or 4 times, and it's still happening. Aside from being frustrating, it's wasting my time. I am much happier with my Wyze cams I've also installed. Zmodo used to be good, but now, not so much. I'm not buying any more Zmodos I currently have 3 and 3 Wyze.
